Who does the work
We take your enquiry, agree the price with you and arrange an auto locksmith to come to you. The locksmith who attends is an independent business, not our employee. We do not have a shop or workshop in Reading. The service is mobile.
Price and payment
You are given one fixed price for the job described before anyone sets off. If the job turns out to be different from what was described, for example a different key type or extra work, you will be told the new price and can say no before any extra work is done. Before you pay anything we tell you who you are paying, how much, and whether any of it is a deposit.
Arrival times
Arrival times are estimates. They depend on traffic, the time of day and which locksmith is nearest. We give you an expected arrival time when you book and tell you if it changes.
ID and ownership
Keys are only made for someone entitled to them. The locksmith will ask for photo ID and proof that you own or are responsible for the vehicle. If you cannot show this the job will not go ahead.
Your rights
Nothing on this website limits your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the work must be done with reasonable care and skill, and any key or part supplied must be of satisfactory quality and as described.
Complaints
If something is not right, contact us first at cian@studiomono.website or on 07520 651 727 with your registration and the date of the job. We will reply within 5 working days and work with the locksmith who attended to put it right.
